In a pivotal development, Multiplexx embraced a new role as the Enterprise Mobility Staging and Configuration Centre for Zebra Technologies, formerly known as Motorola.    Multiplexx is incorporated and establishes operations at Fritz Logistics near London Heathrow (LHR). Working alongside Symbol Technologies Inc, the company provides technical support for the International Distribution Centre (IDC), marking the start of a long-standing partnership in enterprise mobility.

2. 1997 – Recognised as a Trusted Partner

   

   Multiplexx becomes the official Symbol Technologies Inc IDC Staging Centre for the UK and Europe — a significant milestone that strengthens its technical capabilities and reputation for reliability.

3. 1998 – Expansion and Relocation

   

   With continued growth and an expanding client base, Multiplexx and Symbol Technologies Inc move to larger premises at Parkway Trading Estate, Heston, Middlesex.

4. 2005 – Professional Services Recognition

   

   Multiplexx is recognised as a Symbol ‘Professional Services Vendor’, cementing its role as a dependable partner in delivering high-quality enterprise mobility solutions.

5. 2006 – Authorised Solution Partner

   

   Multiplexx becomes a Symbol ‘Authorised Solution Partner’, offering an extended portfolio of complementary mobile computing products including holsters, cradles, cables, batteries, and enclosures.

6. 2007 – Joining Motorola’s Enterprise Mobility Division

   

   Following Symbol Technologies’ acquisition by Motorola, Multiplexx becomes part of Motorola’s Enterprise Mobility Division – Staging & Configuration Centre, further expanding its expertise and global connections.

7. 2012 – New Facilities for a Growing Future

   

   Multiplexx and Motorola relocate to the Unitair Centre (BAX) near London Heathrow, providing improved logistics and infrastructure to support evolving customer requirements.

8. 2016 – Partnership with Zebra Technologies

   

   Multiplexx strengthens its partnership with Zebra Technologies and moves to brand-new facilities within DB Schenker’s LHR premises, reinforcing its commitment to quality and innovation.

9. 2018 – Official Delivery Point Location

   

   Multiplexx achieves customer-recognised Delivery Point Location (DPL) status, allowing the company to accept products directly for streamlined processing and revenue recognition.

10. 2018 – A New Secure Headquarters

    

    Multiplexx opens a dedicated 24/7 security-managed headquarters at Dunsfold Park, Surrey. The purpose-built facility represents a major investment in operational security and long-term growth.

11. Celebrating 30 Years of Innovation
